Some of the pictures on this page have been updated.  We have just recently received triplets in the home.  Have added a picture of them.  They are beautiful 4yr old little girls. 

Today I read all the information below and it is so amazing to me to look back on all the Lord has done in the past few years.  He is so faithful and we can never praise Him enough for all He has done.  God bless you, Elizabeth

El Shaddai Children Home

El Shaddai Children Home (ESCH) is a lighthouse to the impoverished area of Dessources, Haiti. ESCH was opened in 1999 by Marie Prinvil to help orphaned, abandoned, and abused children in Haiti.  Marie is the director of the home and Elizabeth is Marie’s assistant.  Our prayer is that each child that comes to ESCH will be touched by the power of the Lord and live a life that is pleasing to Him.  The home is filled with 31 children ranging from the ages of 11 months to 21 years old and has a staff of 10 people serving in the home.  The home operates strictly by faith in the Lord to provide every need.  Many teams from different backgrounds and denominations have come to visit and minister to not only ESCH but also the people in Dessources.  If you are interested in a life changing experience please contact us.

Dear Brothers & Sisters in Christ,  

About one week ago we received a very sick little girl that was supposed to go to Dorothy’s orphanage.  Since Dorothy was not present and her children had chicken pox, we agreed to take the little girl in until… She is from the area called Cabaret.  She was brought to Pierre by her grandmother and he was told that the little girl’s mother and father were dead.  The mother died after the baby was five days old and the grandmother was able to nurse the baby after she drank cotton seed tea.  Now the grandmother is no longer able to care for her and she is trying to find some help. The little girl’s name is Romeline Annessi.  She will be two years old tomorrow and she weighs about 11 pounds. When we received her she had fever, diarrhea, and was very weak.  Under her ear was swollen up into her face and inside her ear was pus with very bad odor.  She also has signs of very bad malnutrition. We sent her to the doctor and after several blood tests and exams, today they sent a report home that she has tuberculosis and they recommend we take her to another hospital.   The hospital we need to take her to is very far from us.  She will be going tomorrow.  Please pray that they will be able to care for all her needs.  Attached are a few pictures of her and we are asking that you please pray that the Lord will heal her completely of all disease and infection and whatever else she may have that we do not even know. She is a very beautiful little girl.  Since she has been here she has not talked but only makes signs and sounds.  When we talk to her she seems to understand what we are saying to her.  We have loved her since the moment she arrived.

The twin boys, Josué and Caleb, are doing much better.  Thank you for your prayers.  Caleb, who was sick when he came, is still having some trouble digesting.  Please continue to pray for them.

As a note:  Please pray for us as two more houses are being built.  One house is for Sister Anite (Peterson’s grandmother) and the other is for Job.  Also, someone gave us $1,000 to continue the work on the wall. Please pray that all goes well. We continue to pray school will open next week for all the children in the area.

Happenings:
Josué and Caleb (our new family members) are adjusting well to life at El Shaddai and we are adjusting to having little babies in the house.  Caleb was very sick when he first came, but the Lord is doing a great work in his little body. We took him to a couple of doctors and have finally found a doctor that is helping him.  He is getting stronger and has gained weight.  Both little boys are so precious and we are thankful the Lord has allowed us to have a part of their lives.
